Plan Your Giving Before 30 June
Donations are a deduction you choose yourself: how much, when and to whom. A little planning makes each gift go further.
Set a budget
Decide what you want to give this financial year and whether it suits one gift or regular giving.
Choose causes
Pick a small number of causes you can follow, and check each charity on the ACNC Charity Register.
Time the gift
A gift made by 30 June counts in that year. Leave time to confirm receipting before the rush.

A gift is generally deductible when it is $2 or more, made voluntarily to an organisation endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR), with nothing material received in return, and you keep a record of it.

You can give online or by direct bank transfer from anywhere in Australia. Both options are on the PBG Foundation donate page, and our team can help with larger or recurring gifts.
Is my donation to PBG Foundation deductible?

When do I need to give to claim it this financial year?
The gift has to be made by 30 June to count in that financial year. Giving earlier than the final week of June leaves time to confirm receipts and plan larger gifts.
